Project 1A - Site Analysis & Design Response

This first project is to create a new masterplan for kebun komuniti USJ 14 base on the interview we got from the local people who use the kebun itself and also our own observation of what to improve in the kebun such as drainage system, circulation for both OKU and people with their own particular activity in the kebun.

THE ISSUES IN KEBUN KOMUNITI USJ 14

As we interviewing the local people in the kebun we observed and find the conclusion that this kebun lack of circulation, maintanance, lights at night, mosquito and lack of landscape.

THE SOLUTIONS

In designing the masterplan our group have done researches about the drainage system, plants for repellent the mosquito. sustainable lights lamp at night using photovoltaic, and proposing many features such as official markets for selling the harvest, compost from the local kebun people, for the feature of people who gather and active at kebun komuniti USJ 14.

REFLECTIONS

In this first project I manage to understand the importance of community wellness are base on the land we live. As an architect I have to have that aims for the sake of community.

This project has shape the way I have to think critically from each stated real problems and issue that the local kebun people in USJ 14 has been facing.

1. Thinking and problem solving skills

Because this project is a group work, we manage to communicate well as we arrive at the site. whether at the site or school I learned to be keen in communicating every each of problems that we facing start from ideas solving, model making, and slides editing.

2. Communication skills

By communicating with my group mate, we have listed many ideas by the time we discuss. Appreciating each of ideas from each members group and discussed it together has brought us to our final product which is satisfying because we combine all our ideas into one.
